Founded on August 6, 1996, The Blossoming Club Inc. is a minority-owned non-profit organization that provides a unique social environment for children. This youth organization emphasizes self-development and personal growth for young women and men through one-to-one mentoring programs and open communication strategies that explore various aspects of a child's life.
The Blossoming Club's goal is to foster a sense of community among young people that promotes positive social relationships, and strong interpersonal skills and reasserts a sense of hope for the future of our young people.
We work with various youth groups, schools, community churches, and childcare services within the Prince George's County communities. Our goal is to support our youth by assisting them through positive choices for change, accountability, responsibility, and self-discovery.
Our mission is to provide positive mentoring relationships for children between the ages of 7 and 13 and to assist them in navigating through the developmental changes that occur during the early youth and adolescent stages of childhood. Our programs provide children with life skills education that promotes accountability, responsibility, and self-discovery while promoting positive behavior skills that inspire others.
